KRF Group is a private foundation formed in 1947 to advance space policy, applied science, and genetics.

The formation of the foundation was made possible by a generous private endowment by founding donors who insisted on anonymity. The foundation's charter prohibits disclosure of their identities. The foundation's operating budget is more recently augmented by substantial intellectual property revenue.

The foundation currently has over 200 scientists, lawyers, and entrepreneur "Associates" working diligently to further its goals. Identities of the foundation's "Associates" are not disclosed. Lifetime appointments for new "Associates" are granted biennially.
